Call Committee Weekly Congregational Report July 18, 2025

This is the second edition of a weekly Call Committee report provided to the congregation to outline the team's progress toward hiring a new Pastor.

Reporting week of: July 14, 2025

1.    The July 14th meeting was conducted via Zoom with all committee members attending.

2. The role of the alternate (Charla Dunham) was clarified.  She attends each meeting without “voice” or “vote”, ready to step in if a standing member can no longer participate.

3. The Call Committee set  August 17 for formal installation.

4. We discussed the pros and cons of meeting via zoom and concluded to meet in person from time to time.  The next meeting (July 21) will be in person.

5. Each member presented their three “must” and three “preferred” characteristics of a successful candidate.  Discussion ensued with much agreement but no consensus.   Discussions to be continued in person on the 21st.
