What We Do
The Mary Martha Group at Immanuel Lutheran Church is a dedicated and compassionate community of quilters who gather regularly to create beautiful quilts that bring warmth and comfort to those in need. Named after the biblical sisters Mary and Martha, this group embodies both the contemplative and active aspects of faith through their heartfelt work.

Community & Fellowship
Being part of the Mary Martha Group is also about building strong relationships within our church community. Our quilting sessions are opportunities to share stories, offer support, and grow together in faith. We cherish the bonds we form as we work towards a common goal.

Mary Martha Women's Sack Lunch
Join the Mary Martha Women's Sack Lunch group at Immanuel Lutheran Church for a time of fellowship, nourishment, and spiritual growth. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month for a delightful sack lunch, followed by an inspiring Bible study session at 12:30 PM. Once a month, Pastor Peter leads our study, and on other occasions, a member of our group takes the lead, providing diverse insights and enriching discussions. Come share in the warmth, support, and faith of our community. All women are welcome!
The primary mission of the Mary Martha Group is to use our quilting skills to serve others, providing handmade quilts to various outreach programs and individuals in need. Our quilts are more than just blankets—they are symbols of love, care, and hope.
