This is the first edition of a weekly Call Committee report provided to the congregation to outline the team's progress toward hiring a new Pastor.

Reporting week of: July 7, 2025

The call committee will be formally installed in the upcoming weeks.

The committee has requested the formation of an independent prayer team to support discernment during meetings.

The committee agreed that any candidate recommended to The Council must receive unanimous agreement from its members.

Minor issues will be resolved by majority vote.

The next step is to develop a set of interview questions to ensure candidates meet the criteria established by the Transition Team’s Ministry Site Profile (MSP). Each member will propose three required candidate characteristics and three preferred traits for discussion at the next meeting.

After reaching consensus on the required and preferred characteristics, the team will conduct mock interviews with a Pastor to evaluate interviewing techniques.

Guidance will be sought from the Council regarding budget considerations.
