Giving of ourselves to God’s Mission

Our congregational calling is to give of ourselves to do God’s work, improving the well-

being of our congregation, our community, our nation, and beyond.

At Immanuel Lutheran Church, we believe in living out our faith through service to others. Our community is dedicated to making a positive impact through various outreach programs that support and uplift those in need. Here are some of the key initiatives we are involved in:

Reliable Housing - Apartment Team: We work diligently with Reliable Enterprises to provide safe and reliable housing solutions for individuals and families in our community. Our Apartment Team helps furnish housing, ensuring families are in a comfortable living environment.

Fiddlestick’s Pre-School: Our church proudly supports Fiddlestick's Co-Op Pre-School, offering a nurturing and educational environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive.

Go on the Mission: Through this initiative, we send volunteers on mission trips to serve communities in need, both locally and globally. Our missions aim to spread love, hope, and practical help where it’s needed most.

Fords Prairie Elementary: We partner with Fords Prairie Elementary to supply lice kits and other essentials to support the students and their families. Recently, we also gathered wipes and juice for homeless families in need.

Kids’ Kloset: This program provides new clothing for children in our community, ensuring that every child has access to the basics they need to feel comfortable and confident.

Centralia Pride: We actively participate in Centralia Pride events, showing our support for diversity and inclusion. Our church stands as a welcoming and affirming space for all members of our community.

American Cancer Society: We support the American Cancer Society through fundraising and volunteer efforts, contributing to the fight against cancer and providing hope for those affected by this disease.
