Then Pastor Linda Smith
Then Rabbi Jim Pace.
Book Club
Our book club met on February 5th to review A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN.
What a classic! Made for a good discussion. We were impressed with how it connects with today’s world. Our next book is THE ONLY WOMAN IN THE ROOM by Marie Benedict. The next meeting is scheduled for March 5th at 10:00.
You are welcome to read the book and join us.
Fiddlesticks Preschool Update, February 2025
Immanuel provided donuts and juice for Donuts for Dad on Jan. 23-24; about 50 people were served--the dads had a great time! Our next opportunity to help with the important work Fiddlesticks does with young families will be supporting their annual fundraiser raffle/auction on March 15. You can help in any of the following ways:
· Attend the event to show your support and to join in the fun. This is a high energy event, and lots of fun.
· Purchase raffle tickets ($5 each) in advance of the event. They will be available at church on Sundays starting Feb. 17th. You do not need to be present to win--a prize will be selected for you if your number is drawn.
· Provide a dessert for the dessert dash. Watch for a sign-up sheet.
· Provide a prize ($50+ value) for the raffle OR contribute to a basket (any amount appreciated!).
· And as always, please pray for the families of Fiddlesticks. Growing wonderful human beings is not an easy job!
If you are able to help in any way, contact Claudia Craig.
