Call Committee Weekly Congregational Report

Reporting week of: August 18, 2025

Committee members Jeri, Patty, Diane, Audra, Kevin, and Ryan attended the August 18th meeting; Charla was absent due to lack of agenda relevance. The interview questions for Pastoral Candidate(s) are finalized and assigned for individual committee members to ask.

Our Synod contact, Rebecca, left her position on August 17th, and a new contact will start in early September. We won't receive any Pastoral candidates until after Rebecca’s replacement settles into her new assignment.  So, while we are anxious to move the process along as fast as possible, patience is required.  Romans 12:12 says:  "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."

A mock interview with Pastor Val is scheduled for September 16th, allowing the committee to practice interviewing skills. There will be no further updates until after this event.
